Nexus 4 finally released in Japan. So what? Who cares?

It goes on sale tomorrow, but no one cares. There is no reason to buy this and many reasons not to:
  • Jacked up price
  • Old hardware
  • No LTE, so it'll be slow
  • No keitai osaifu, so no FeliCa mobile payments
  • No Foma Plus area (800 MHz), so no reception with MVNOs in the countryside
It's twice as expensive as in other markets. While the price is being reduced by up to $200 in the US, it hits Japan with price doubled, according to reports: ¥49,800

Think about that, $249 for the 16 GB version would be ¥24,175. Sure round up to 3 man if you will but, 500 bucks? For that old thing? おま国だね。
